Campaign Weirdness in Dallas

The Secret Service stopped Dallas police from searching people at an Obama rally.

• Why would they do that?

• Isn't Dallas the city where the Secret Service backed off of JFK's motorcade about 10 seconds before his head was blown off?

Now I read that a motorcycle cop guarding the Clinton campaign has died after rounding a corner too fast and hitting a curb.

Dallas and political tragedy go hand in hand I guess.

The Texas Democratic primary will be on March 4th. If Obama wins (as he has won the last 11 Democratic primaries), he will almost certainly be the Democratic nominee for President, and considering the weakness of the GOP and McCain's almost total lack of charisma, will probably be the next president of the United States. Keep an eye on Texas.
